"You know you are in the right place when the Pugliese grandma comes out of the kitchen and ask you if you liked her polpette al sugo. This place it's a jump into the most original south Italian cuisine."

"What a gem of Polignano. Only opened 2 weeks ago and the food was delicious. The Italian lady came over to talk to us and she had cooked everything herself. Cute experience and very cost effective for what you get. Good cheap and easy option with true Puglian flavours. Have the Orrichette with beef."

"Everyone who is visiting Polignano should stop here for a bite(this statement is probably against advertisement law lol). But the food and atmosphere here are both unbeatable in my opinion. Our food were made by a lovely lady and we were warmly welcomed by her and her boy. I think this should be an Italian experience you won’t forget :)"

"We went twice during our short stay in Polignano a Mare — that says it all! Very nice restaurant with authentic, homemade Italian food. Everything is simple but absolutely five-star quality (Michelin-star level in taste and care). The staff were very kind and the service was excellent. Highly recommended! Grazie mille :)"

"Absolutely amazing! Typical authentic food . Starter: the facaccia barese and tris medageloni to start. Mains : parmigiana eggplant & orecchiette braciola Dessert: tiramisu Plus drinks €42 It was all cooked by this sweet lady who we had a chat to. She had been open for a few weeks and cooks everything herself. It was truly the best food we have had here. Highly recommend!!!! And the place is away from all the crowds on the Main Street."

"We were looking for a restaurant that served good local food and picked this one. It's only a small place with 10 covers, but the food was nice and tasty and resonably priced. We both decided on the Orecchiette Sugo Braciola, which is homemade pasta with a meat roll and a tomato sauce."
